Mr. Choa graduated
from the University of Melbourne in Australia in 1996
with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance)
and a Bachelor of Law. He was called to the Malaysian
Bar in March 1998 and immediately commenced legal practice
as an advocate and solicitor at Messrs Lee Hishammuddin
Allen & Gledhill, one of the largest law firms in
Malaysia.
Mr. Choa initially joined the litigation department
of Messrs Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill during
which he was involved in corporate and shareholders'
disputes, insurance claim disputes, property acquisition
disputes, breach of contract disputes, tax appeals and
loan and debt recovery.
In March 2000, Mr. Choa joined the corporate department
of Messrs. Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill during
which he gained invaluable experience in advising on
and implementing public company fundraising, including
initial public offerings and rights issues, debt restructuring
exercises involving, amongst others, the issuance of
debt instruments, convertible securities and other forms
of derivative instruments, company takeovers and mergers
and acquisitions, conducting due diligence exercises,
joint ventures and shareholders matters, outsourcing
of services and e-commerce and internet related matters
for a broad range of public listed as well as private
companies involved in banking, telecommunications, media,
chemicals, consumer products, property development and
travel and leisure services, prior to joining Mulpha
Capital Markets Sdn Bhd. |

Mr. Asgari started
his career in a holding company for a family group that
had interests in property development, shipping and
plantations. He then joined Interpacific Securities
and later Kimara Securities where he finished as Dealing
Director. Subsequently, he joined Usaha Tegas Sdn Bhd
as an Internal Auditor and then as an Investment Manager.
He was responsible for establishing an internal audit
department, and as Investment Manager for managing a
RM200 million portfolio of publicly traded securities,
the initial development work for the Tanjong Groups
new corporate headquarters, and representing Usaha Tegas
on the operating boards of Kuala Lumpur City Centre
("KLCC").
Mr. Asgari left in 1995 to form Kumpulan Sentiasa Cemerlang,
a fund management company licensed by the Securities
Commission, where he was the partner heading the marketing
efforts of the company. In 1997, he joined the National
Economic Action Council as Special Officer where he
kept the Council advised on issues relating to the finance
industry in addition to handling all matters concerning
financial press. He left at the end of his contract
in 1998 to start a venture capital company, Intelligent
Capital, where he is the Managing Partner today.
Mr. Asgari holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from
Melbourne University and an MBA from Cranfield University,
United Kingdom. |

Loong Caesar, Director |

Loong Caesar is
a founding partner of Raslan Loong, Advocates and Solicitors,
Malaysias first international law firm which has
offices in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Mannheim and Pretoria.
He was educated at Raffles Institution Singapore, the
London School of Economics and Caius College, Cambridge.
He is a frequent presenter at domestic and international
conferences. Amongst others, he has been a guest speaker
at conferences organised by the Asia Society, the Young
Entrepreneurs Organisation and the World Entrepreneurs
Organisation. He has chaired seminars on corporate governance,
securities regulation and strategic issues concerning
cross border investments and liberalisation of legal
services.
He is the Legal Advisor on the Board of Trustees of
the Worldwide Fund for Nature and a former committee
member of the International Board of the World Entrepreneurs
Organisation, a Washington-based organisation with a
worldwide membership of 6,000.
His provocative articles dealing with a wide range of
topics, including freedom of speech, meritocracy, self-reliance,
racial discrimination and the legal profession, have
appeared in the New Sunday Times. He has been interviewed
by Bloomberg, The Asian Wall Street Journal and other
media companies.
His law firm, Raslan Loong was established in 1995.
It is a leading adviser on mergers and acquisitions,
corporate finance, corporate banking, securities regulation,
technology, investment funds and cross border work.
It advises a large number of foreign and local financial
institutions and multinational corporations. A major
part of the firms business relates to cross border
mergers and acquisitions and fundraising and technology
transactions. |

Chung Tze Hien, Director |
|
Mr. Chung, was
appointed Chief Executive Officer of Mulpha International
Bhd on 27 February 2001. He graduated from the University
of Otago, New Zealand with a Commerce degree and later
proceeded to qualify as an Associate Member of the Institute
of Chartered Secretarie and Administrators of United
Kingdom.
Prior to joining Mulpha, Mr. Chung worked for and held
seniorpositions in several public listed companies in
Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, involving a variety
of industries and businesses.
