Leisure
Farm Lives Up to Its Name(The Star)
Date : 19/04/2004
There are some exciting new additions over the past year or so to make
one's investment in Leisure Farm Resort really worthwhile.
For a start, there is the newly completed The Bale, a
RM13mil, 32,000 sq ft clubhouse for the resort's equestrian and country
club. Billed as having the largest thatched conical cluster roofs in
the world, the roofs are individually hand-woven and tied together by
skillful Balinese craftsmen and are designed with deep overhangs to
create lots of open and semi-open interior and exterior spaces.

The Bale is within the Soul centre, one of the resort's
three conceptual centres. The other two are the Mind and
Body centres.
The Soul centre is also called the Bale Community Hub.
Mulpha's Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, Koh Boon Teng said "The
Bale was designed with ultimate leisure and relaxation in mind."
Other new developments and updates are The Canal Park - located
in the Body centre, it will be the first double-gated
community in Malaysia. About RM2mil has been invested to liven up the
five-acre park's water catchments and drainage system to transform it
into a canal park sanctuary.
Two residential products have been successfully launched. They are
the Laman Hijau garden court low-rise apartments, the first double-gated
community in Lesiure Farm and Pinggiran Bayou, double-storey terrace
townhouses that are now 70% completed.
The Link 25 golf view terrace bungalows - these double-storey
zero-lot bungalows have a gross built-up area of 3,000 sq ft to 3,800
sq ft and are expected to be launched in August or October 2004. Based
on an innovative strata bungalow concept, each unit will have its own
lily pond, private pool, roof garden and lawn.
Part of the RM5mil Mind centre will be ready this year.
Called D'Rimbunan Village Centre, it will
be a venue for residents to meet. It will offer facilities like performance
space, cafes, convenience stores, sculptures, arts and children's centres.
Pedestrian walkways and footpaths will link the centre to the residences
and Canal Park.
Work on the first three parcels of the park is progressing
well. Nature trails are being created in this Body centre
that provides sporting and recreational place for the resort's community.
As Ronn Yong, General Manager for Property Division puts it: "Leisure
Farm Resort has always been maintaining the value of our residential
homes, much to our owners' relief. With such significant progress now
and much more in line for the near future, gradual appreciation in the
value of our properties can be expected if not safely sustained at the
current rate. This is indeed a sound investment, both in terms of quality
lifestyle and better returns."
